Train top-level human resources in CAU College of Biotechnology
In our CAU College of Biotechnology, we are developing the futuristic fields of microorganism, animals, plant resource, high-value food material, its manufacturing technique, and quality inspection plus safety evaluation techniques for the biotechnology material. Moreover, in order to foster excellent experts in this field, we are specializing life resources, food, and bio industry along with our strategic planning to be the center of Applied Biotechnology.
In 2018 we hope to be one of 200 world renowned universities. Under this goal, we established and started operating the Faculty of Bio-resource engineering (Animal Science and Technology, Department of Integrative Plant Science), Food Engineering (Food Science, Food and Nutrition), and the Department of Systems Biotechnology. Also with our continuous efforts to introduce industry-academic cooperation and advanced education system, we are developing into a topmost unit of education in this field.
We are striving to develop high tech industrial technology and establish academic theories; also, our talented students of College of Biotechnology and Natural Resources are currently working in various biotech related fields such as research institute, industrial world, and educational world after graduating. Moreover, they are getting recognized as proactive leaders for the better society.
