Biotechnology is intricately linked to critical global issues that include healthcare, pandemic infectious diseases, food shortages, and environmental pollution . To resolve these problems, we need to concentrate on developing original research techniques.
The Department of Systems Biotechnology delivers lectures focusing on high-technology, post-genomic era systems biotechnology. The lectures are delivered by professors of world-class caliber in education and research abilities. The individual mentoring and student-focused educational environment aims to nurture students to become creative and innovative individuals. The goal of education in the Department of Systems Biotechnology is to provide the leaders of the next generation of biotechnology via the expanded/advanced curriculums and research practices. The Department of Systems Biotechnology has been selected by the Korean Council for University Education as the best biomedical department based on a university evaluation from an industrial perspective. We have provided many benefits to graduate students under the fourth phase BK21 program since the second half of 2020. The Department of Systems Biotechnology is committed to developing creative and innovative leaders who will contribute to future society.
