Major of Animal Science and Technology is a pioneering industry field which takes a major part in the production food resource and life science; also, it is a key part of low carbon and green growth.
Thus, we strive to train creative and proactive global experts, and contribute to the benefit of humanity and national development through the research of high-tech field. Moreover, under the school's main objective to be an honest person, we educate our students to be a well-rounded person who can develop oneself through extensive education, a professional expert who is proficient in theory and application, an endeavoring creator who has in-depth professional competencies and research capacity, an active server of community who can contribute to humanity, and lastly a cultured person who has the open mind to accept the diversity of world culture.
Under this background, we practice whole-person education as 「Justice and Truth」is the school's motto through lower grades' cultural studies and basic major courses which incorporate education suit for industrial site, strengthening of life science education, education on environmental problems and sustainability, establishing educational system for globalization, and strengthening the distinguishment and complementarities between hypercomplex education, and the education of specialization.
As for the upper grades, in order to meet the need of rapidly growing study and technology in the field bio-resource science, we provide theoretical education as well as field training and research opportunities utilizing the high tech equipment.
